My wife and I recently saw this little guy “inching” along our deck railing. The sinusoidal nature of it’s locomotion were at once elegant and beautiful - the living embodiment of a trigonometric function.

The inchworm is actually the pupae of the Geometer moth. Assuming it survives it will soon undergo an amazing metamorphosis into it’s adult form.

Now that is disruptive change!
